The Yurok
Reservation is located near the Pacific Coast on northwestern
California, about 30 miles south of the Oregon border. Of the
approximately 56,000 acres within the reservation boundries, about 85
percent remains outside of the federal trust status. 4,400 acres are
tribally owned with a population of 1,343. |
