Established by an Act of Congress in June of 1936,
the Alabama Quassarte Reservation is located in the hills of
east-central Oklahome, in Okmulgee County, just north of the I-40
corridor. Tribal members are descended from the Alabama people, a
Muskogean-speaking tribe of the southeastern U.S. |
